He is survived by: his brother Rex Hatton; his wife Debra Hatton (Sissel); his children, Shelley Harriman (Hatton) and Robert W. Hatton Jr.; his daughter-in-law Chantelle Hatton; his daughter Jeanette Jones; his son-in-law John Jones; his granddaughters, Valerie and Rebecca Jones; and his siblings, Susan Dreith (Hatton) and Robin Hatton.
