With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas A. Germer (Gallatin, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Germer and Nellie Germer; his sister Mernel Novak; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Hilda Whipple; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Whipple, Bruce Whipple and Ronald Whipple.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Germer (Whipple); his children, Tony (Pam) and Lara; his grandchildren, Corey Germer of Gallatin, TN, Helena Dion (Brandon) of Hendersonville, TN, Kaitlyn Germer of Jacksonville, FL, Mia Germer and Taylor Stevens; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Paisleigh, Paul, Rory, Ryan, Braelyn, Delilah, Wyatt and Finley; his brothers, Chuck Germer (late Erma) and Hank Germer (Glenda); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Whipple (Crystal), Gary Whipple (Penny), Keith Whipple (late Linda), Marlene Whipple and Marcene Rachael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in White House (4095 US-31W, Cottontown, TN 37048).
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Alzheimer's Association to help find a cure.
