He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Germer and Nellie Germer; his sister Mernel Novak; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Hilda Whipple; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Whipple, Bruce Whipple and Ronald Whipple.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Germer (Whipple); his children, Tony (Pam) and Lara; his grandchildren, Corey Germer of Gallatin, TN, Helena Dion (Brandon) of Hendersonville, TN, Kaitlyn Germer of Jacksonville, FL, Mia Germer and Taylor Stevens; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Paisleigh, Paul, Rory, Ryan, Braelyn, Delilah, Wyatt and Finley; his brothers, Chuck Germer (late Erma) and Hank Germer (Glenda); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Whipple (Crystal), Gary Whipple (Penny), Keith Whipple (late Linda), Marlene Whipple and Marcene Rachael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Alzheimer's Association to help find a cure.
