He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Hoffman and Rossie Lee Pritchett Hoffman; his wife Cornelia Settle Hoffman; his children, Thomas Hoffman Jr., Jody Hoffman and Angela Dobbs; and his siblings, Billy Hoffman and Sarah Ann Durham.
He is survived by: his daughter Betsy Gentry (Allen) of Portland; his sister Mary Louise Christian (Jackie) of White House; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hoffman (Sabrina), Jake Pedigo, Brooke Holleran, Jordan Holleran, Brianna Gentry and Robert Emberton. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
