He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Vickery (Bell) and John Harl Vickery; his children, William Ray Capps and Angela Renea Teets; his grandson Logan Lynn Vickery; and his sisters, Mary Ann Lee and Betty Ann Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Angelene Sentell Vickery; his children, J. Marlene Bates (Danny Bates), Joe Michael Capps, Thomas Vickery, Rita Gayle Vickery, Gary Allen Vickery and Vicky Morris (Sammy Morris); and his grandchildren, Amy Summers (Mickey Summers), D. J. Bates (Jessica Bates), Christina Lopez, Ashley Bermudez, Little John McCloud, Brandy Edwards (Anthony Edwards), Heather Langston (John Langston), Jackie Kent, Vince Teets, Todd Teets and Anita Kemp. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
