She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Eldridge Hyatt and Alma Marie Stewart Hyatt; her husband Marcus R. Smith; her grandson Christopher Gregory; and her siblings, Samuel David Hyatt and Maxine Perry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherlin Smith of Mt. Juliet, Beverly Smith of Gallatin and Patricia Dutton of Gallatin; and her grandchildren, Thomas Derrick Dutton (Rebecca) and Cherl Cros (Laurent). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
