He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Lauper and Margaret Lauper; and his siblings, Glenda, Peggy, Ed, Charles, Waye, Chris (Jitter), Edna and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Lauper; his daughters, Leslie (Wayne) and Melissa (Ryan); and his granddaughters, Rylee Madeline and Lyla Noelle Hunt.
