He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer E. Knight Sr. and Ella Knight (Dixon); and his siblings, Glen Knight, Charles Knight, Earl Knight and Esther Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Knight; his children, Sandra Meguiar (Bill) and Nathan Knight (Jaime); his grandsons, William T. Meguiar, Christian Meguiar, Samuel Knight and Jacob Knight; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Strother and Cheryl Strother. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
William was faithful servant of the Lord, he was a longtime member of Palmers Chapel Church of Christ until the congregation closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
