He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wiest; his sons, William Wiest Jr. (Dominique) and Brett Wiest (Pansy); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Brett Jr., Stormie, Ashley, Serena, Cassidy, Katlynn, Grace, Arianna, Kaybren and Karsyn. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins.
Family ask, in lieu of flowers, donation be made to a Fraternal Order of Police and Wounded Warrior Foundations.
