We announce the death of Carolyn Doss Davis of Gates, Tennessee, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wille B. Doss and Earline Sanderson (Lay); her husband John Alford Davis; and her great grandchild Scottie Lamar Pevahouse. She is survived by: her son Tim Pevahouse (Yogi) of Troy, TN.; her siblings, June Seenmann of Missouri, Joan Armour of Wisconsin, Bubba Doss of Halls, TN., Tommy Doss of Halls, TN. and Johnny McGee of Halls, TN.; her grandchildren, Jessica Barham of Finley, TN, Kirsten Solomon of Jackson, TN, Terry Hughes of Dyersburg, TN and Stacy Pevahouse of Ridgley, TN.; her great grandchildren, Landyn Barham, Charleigh Barham and Layklen Byrd; and her pet Bubba.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenhill Memorial Gardens (15135 TN-210, Halls, TN 38040).
