It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn R. Vaughn of Gates, Tennessee, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rommie Roberts and Lena Roberts; and her siblings, Rommie Roberts Jr., Roger Roberts and Shirley Roberts.

She is survived by : her husband Bobby Ray Vaughn of Gates, Tennessee; her daughters, Angela Vaughn of Halls and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Shelby Cross (Brett), Dr. Dalton Gean, Layla Vaughn and Corey Smith (Marlee); her great grandchildren, Caroline Cross, Rhett Cross and Everly Smith; and her sisters, Joyce Weaver and Ellen Griggs.
