He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dancy of Gates, TN; his children, David Koonce (Kim) of Dyersburg, TN, John "Tony" Dancy of Gates, TN and Angela Barnes (Jimmy) of Halls, TN; and his siblings, Betty Burks of Gates, TN, Diane Stacey of Frog Jump, TN, Brenda Carter of Gates, TN, Gary Warren of Gates, TN, Jerry Warren of Dyersburg, TN and Mike Warren of Gates, TN.. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Sanders.The family has requested Memorials be given to the Gates Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 154, Gates, TN 38037.
