She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernice Melton and Neal "Bus" Melton; and her siblings, J. E. Melton, Don Melton and Virginia Cordell.
She is survived by: her husband Ned Holder; and her siblings, Dean Melton (Regina) of Chattanooga, TN, Jackie Melton (Patty) of Decatur, TN, Ronnie Melton of Decatur, TN and Sarah Cordell (Paul) of Hixson, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meadowview Baptist Church (10715 Ooltewah Georgetown Rd, Georgetown, TN 37336). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens East (4621 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411).
