He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Geren and Nina Geren; his brother Vernon Geren; his parents-in-law, Roy and Imogene Matthews; his sister-in-law Carolyn Matthews Dunn; and his nephew Chris Geren.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Matthews Geren; his daughters, Gina Geren Miller (Ivo Aaron Miller) and Emily Geren McCulley (Jim Olmeda); his grandchildren, Hailey Miller Beiden (Ryan Beiden), Hunter Miller, William McCulley and Alice McCulley; his sister Joyce Calfee (Carl Calfee); and his siblings-in-law, Bunny, Junior Farmer and Larry Dunn. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery (2083 No Pone Rd NW, Georgetown, TN 37336).
