He is survived by: his wife Rachel Gibson Cranfield; his children, Josh Cranfield, Deven Cranfield, Candace Godfrey (Nate) and Angelica Byers; his grandchildren, Natty Godfrey, Raylynn Godfrey, JoJo Godfrey and Peter Byers; and his brother Keith Cranfield (Darlene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Buckner and Fike Funeral Home and Cremation (3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd NE, Cleveland, TN 37311). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Standfield Church Cemetery.
