She was predeceased by: her husband Hilton Johnson; her parents, Harvey Lee and Bessie Coble Smith; and her siblings, Wilma Brewer, Everett Smith, Elise King, Darleen Guider, Wayne Smith, Joyce Mitchell and Alice Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Waldo (Mike) of El Paso, TX and Mark Johnson (Tonia) of Ten Mile, TN.; her grandchildren, Kevin Brown (Amy), Olivia Johnson, Aaron Johnson and Madylin Johnson; her great grandchildren, Kendall and Lincoln Brown; her close friends, N. C., Betty Cartwright, Bill, Elizabeth Leamon, Butch, Debby Edgemon, Bud, Judy Everett and Christy Lawson; and her caregiver Dorenda Blankenship. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
