It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bennie Lee Marshall of Germantown, Tennessee, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Marshall and Matilda Jones Marshall (Lady); and his siblings, Beau Hadley, Rosie Jones and Maxine Marshall.

He is survived by : his wife Lucinda Marshall; his sons, Derek (Lori), Kenneth and Stephen (Lashawn); and his grandchildren, Jessica Marshall, Derek Marshall Jr., Kennedy Marshall and William Marshall. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.

It is this degree that led to a job offer with Delta Foundation in Greenville, MS. Delta Foundation allowed Bennie to return home while working to promote small business growth in the Delta.
