He was predeceased by: his parents, Bren Rose and Martha Shields Rose. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Strother Rose; his son Doug Rose (Lori); his sister Virginia Rose; his grandchildren, Nikki Watkins (Kyle), Lauren Crawford (Brian Smithart) and Courtney Means (Clifton); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Crawford, Piper Means and Hadley Smithart.
