She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harris Wiman and Maud Merle Walker Wiman; her husband Ray Leon Simpson; and her siblings, Cecil Wiman and Margaret Glenn Dawson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Harriman of Collierville and Anne Hosse of Collierville, Tennessee; her brother Charles Wiman of Grand Junction, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Brent Harriman of Knoxville, Brad Harriman of Memphis, Stacey Harper of El Dorado, Angie Carrier of Memphis and Trey Carrier of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the International Mission Board or the Missions Ministry of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
