He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goff and Mary Elizabeth Cox Braddock; and his brother John Braddock. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Gail Shaw Braddock; his daughters, Dr. Abigail Braddock Simone (Paul Simone) and Mary Elizabeth Braddock; his grandchildren, Paul Steven III and Marjorie Leigh Simone; his siblings, Benjamin Braddock (Virginia) and Elizabeth Green (Evan); and his sister-in-law Patsy Braddock.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to Ridgeway Baptist Church or Memphis Union Mission.
