She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dennis McNabb and Bill Houston; her parents, Robert C. Mayfield and Alma Rae Mayfield; and her sisters, Bobbye McCoy and Shirley Donald.
She is survived by: her daughter Medley Ewan (Patrick); her siblings, Margaret Mayne, Robby Mayfield, Ricky Mayfield (Carol) and Melinda McLaurin (Max); her grandchildren, Cade Grinder, Mallory Grinder, Grey Ewan (Kaitlyn) and Stone Ewan (Rebecca); and her great grandchild Porter Ewan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
