Michael Arthur Flexsenhar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Arthur Flexsenhar of Germantown, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Flexsenhar and Doreen Gesell Flexsenhar; and his granddaughter Morgan. He is survived by: his significant other Janet Ruth Weiskopf; his children, Michael Jr. (Betsy), Mark (Laura), Kristine (Christopher) and Keith (Tami); his grandchildren, Michael III (Diane), Caleb, Brandon, Amanda (Tyler), Riley, Abbie, Kyle and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Simeon, Gabriel, Lily, Genieve, Gianna, Payton and Jacob. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2477 W Washington St, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SIDS of Illinois, 6010 Route 53, Suite A , Lisle, IL 60532, or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
