Ketter of John's Catholic Church; his children, Nathan Powell of Atlanta, GA, David Powell of Memphis, TN and Erica Powell of Memphis, TN; his grandson Dalton; and his siblings, Tom Powell (Debbie) of Katy, TX and Becky Powell-Rennacker (Reed) of North Liberty, IA. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
