She was predeceased by: her parents, Judith Garrard and William Garrard; her husband Sam Evans, Sr.; her siblings, Opal, Florence, Bea, Mary, Ann, Bill and Joe David; and her siblings' children, Judy, John and Bill.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Evans Gabriel (Al) of Germantown, TN; and her granddaughter Rachel Gabriel Cox (Jake) of Austin, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
