With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sue Swaim Hughes of Germantown, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Swaim and Martha Swaim (Bland); her sisters, Jane Keough and Lynda King; and her son John Hughes.
She is survived by: her brother James Swaim of Memphis; her children, Stephen Hughes (Karen) of Memphis and Susan Jameson (Mel) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her adoptive daughter Elizabeth Juarez of Jacksonville, Ark.; her daughter-in-law Marian Badger Hughes of Germantown; her cousin Gina Smith Rebman of Houston; her grandchildren, Forrest Hughes (Terri), Sarah Lanier (Austin), Wilson Hughes, Alex Juarez, Connor Shoun, Taylor Juarez, Kayden Shoun and Kai Juarez; and her great grandchildren, Paxton Shoun, Harper Hughes and Madilyn Hughes. She is also survived by "Nana" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ at White Station or the Boll Weevil Charity Foundation.
