Wayne Thomas Breunig Obituary
We announce the death of Wayne Thomas Breunig of Germantown, Tennessee, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 77. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas "Tom" Breunig and Rose Henning Breunig. He is survived by: his wife Karen Breunig; his sister Karen Morrow (Ken); his children, Michelle Breunig, Jeff Breunig (Ashley) and Doug Breunig (Katie); and his grandchildren, Madeline Breunig, Georgia Pennington, Jordan Pennington, Jack Breunig and Henry Breunig.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Wayne and his faith community, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Germantown United Methodist Church: Give - Germantown UMC, Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas "Tom" Breunig and Rose Henning Breunig.
