He was predeceased by : his parents, Mamie Hanks and Clyde Hanks; and his wife Betty Jane Forbes Hanks. He is survived by : his children, Phyllis Hansen (Ron) and Steve McCullough (Elaine); his grandson John Andrew McCullough; and his close friend James Murphy of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
