She was predeceased by : her husbands, Joe White and Richard Dean Black; her parents, Jewel Phelps and Naomi Phelps; and her sister Doris Lane.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Kay Hicks (Tim) of Gleason, TN. and Becky Trevathan (Eddie) of Gleason, TN.; her sister Linda Arford of Lansing, MI.; and her grandchildren, Willie Trevathan and T. J. Hicks. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home of Gleason (429 S Cedar St, Gleason, TN 38229). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
