He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Johnson; his parents, John Johnson and Donnie Johnson; and his siblings, Martha Cole, Lena Suddath and Charles Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark of Gleason, TN. and Veronica Johnson of Gleason, TN.; his daughter-in-law Cindy Johnson of Gleason, TN.; and his grandchildren, Matt Dunning, Graylon Perkins, Chaz Adams, Chasidy Barton, Christy Johnson, Blake Johnson and Ashley Hinton. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tumbling Creek Baptist Church in his memory.
