As Lynda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lynda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lynda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Long and Genevieve A. Long. She is survived by: her husband Harry W. Schippers III; her daughters, Kelly Schippers and Barbara C. Torres (Miquel); her sister Laura Hatton; and her grandchildren, Isabel Torres, Devin Ballew, Alexander Schippers, Miquel Torres Jr. Antonio Torres and Caprice Torres.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home -Gleason (429 S Cedar St, Gleason, TN 38229). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
