She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brownlow Pitts and Eleanor Catherine Choate Pitts; and her granddaughter Mary Catherine Elizabeth Ricketts. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Jo Hill-Ricketts (John); her grandsons, John Ricketts and Richard Ricketts; and her great grandchildren, Aliyah Ricketts, Cyncere Austin-Ricketts and Gabriel Ricketts.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services (212 TN-76, White House, TN 37188). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
