He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard and Rena Mae Howard McRee; and his brother James Edwin McRee. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burgess McRee of Goodspring; his daughters, Sharon McRee Smith of Louisville, KY, Leslie McRee Purvis (Joe) of Goodspring and Glynda McRee of Goodspring; his grandsons, James Glen McRee-Abernathy and Viktor Andrew Lane; his sisters, Evelyn McRee Felker (Richard) of Pulaski and Linda McRee Oliver of Pulaski; his mother-in-law Marvenelle Burgess of Pulaski; his sister-in-law Diane Burgess Aymett of Minor Hill; his uncle Tommy McCree of Pulaski; his nieces, Lisa, Vickie, Sylvia and Kim; and his pet Trumpers. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Minor Hill Cemetery.
