He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dan Apple and Lillie Apple; his wife Karen Huff Apple; his sons, Anthony Apple (Anna) and Drew Apple (Erica); his grandchildren, Arron, Lily, Eli and Levi Apple; and his siblings, Jean Williams (Fred) and Kenneth Apple (Anita).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home (71 E Main St, Gordonsville, TN 38563). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Southside Lions Club or Club Springs Macedonia The Baptist Church of Christ.
