He is survived by: his wife Lois Murphy of Gordonsville, TN; his children, Dewayne Murphy of Gordonsville, TN, Anthony Murphy (Ashton) of Gordonsville, TN and Kristin Fulghum (Matthew) of Lancaster, TN; his sisters, Judy Murphy of Lebanon, TN and Maryann Hobby (Joey) of Hartsville, TN; his sister-in-law Kathy Murphy of South Carthage, TN; and his grandchildren, Austin Murphy, Mariah Murphy, Caleb Short, Emma Murphy, Makayla Short, Gracelyn Murphy and Carter Murphy. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
