She was predeceased by : her father George Greear; her husband William Bill Porter; and her brother Gene Greear. She is survived by : her children, Pamela Porter Elam (Tommy), Patty Porter Deaderick (Paul Greear), William Porter II (Cory) and Cindy Porter Carr (David); her grandchildren, Colton, Kaleigh Deaderick, Nicholas, Briana Watlington, Chase, Dru, Ashlyn Phipps and Jordyn Lawson; her siblings, Thelma Porter and Rudy Greear; and her cousin Wilma Ford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
