She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Rhea and Grace Rhea; and her husband Sammy B. Copas. She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Ray and Sharon Walker; her children, Debra Houser, Joe Copas (Eva), Jennifer Dennison (Richard) and Danny Copas (Sharon); her grandchildren, Brandon, Anthony Harless, Michael, Brigette Copas, Lauren, John Havlik, Hannah, Matthew Sifford and Samuel Dennison; and her great grandchildren, Jaicee, Colton, Holden, Oliver, Easton and Elsie Rhea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gray Cemetery (2203 Maple Dr, Gray, TN 37615).
