She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Plaster and Beatrice Arrowood Plaster; her son Thomas Christopher Watts; her siblings, Clarence Howard Plaster (C. H.) and Maxine Alexander; and the father of her children Thomas Earl Watts Jr..
She is survived by: her son Eric Watts (Dusty) of Jonesborough; her sister Lena Hicks of Johnson City; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff Alexander (Wendy) of Limestone, Carson Alexander of Limestone, Rosey Tucker (Richard) of Limestone, Lavonne Miller of Johnson City, Karen Feathers (Clyde) of Knoxville and Kathy Dobbs of Alabama. She is also survived by fifteen great-nieces and nephews and twenty-five great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:50 AM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Patton Simmons Cemetery.
