He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Fitzgerald Sanders; and his siblings, N. J., Bill, Hack, Jim, Wallace, Clifton, Clifford (Kip), Mary Sue Fitzgerald and Gladys Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Jolene Swisher, Arlene Lockhart (Harvey), Jacky Sanders (Teresa) and Darlene Stephens; his grandchildren, Derick Letterman (Denise), Kacie Manis (TJ), Chelsea Ambrose (Blake), Dr. Morgan Lockhart, Abby Barker (John), Krisa Stephens and Anna Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Daxon Letterman, Justin, Hudson Manis and Eleanor Wells.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hales Chapel Christian Church (280 Hales Chapel Rd, Gray, TN 37615). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hales Chapel Christian Church cemetery fund.
