He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Patrick Wood and Elsie Irene Doughtery Wood; and his siblings, Joe, Paul Wood, Shirley Wood McGrill and June Wood Prusha.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gayle Briggs Wood; his children, Mark Wood, Denise Fitts (Chris) and Malinda Johnson-Fields (Shane); his stepchildren, Curt Sells and Kristy Hutchins (Roger); his grandchildren, Willie (Sarah), Gabby (Jake), Siera (Steven), Savannah and Emmalee; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler (Lexi), Brittany, Austin, Dylan, Kayley, Tayler, Haylen, Lauren, Katie, Abbey and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Arabella, Ava, Ruth, Emma, Makenna, Elena, Carter, Ellie Grace, Oliver, Beau, Mila, Harper and Hudson; and his siblings, Yvonne Wood Pruett (Jerry), Jim Wood, Nancy Isabelle Wood Greear, Steven Wood (Vernell Jennings) and Deborah Wood Harrell (Melton). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
