It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Bacon Hamblin of Gray, Tennessee, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James H. Hamblin and Laura Lucinda Walthall Hamblin; and his brother Philip Hamblin. He is survived by : his wife Richelle B. "Shelly" Hamblin; his children, Shannon Hobson, Marshall Hamblin (Sarah), Jonathan Hamblin and Jessica Kirk (Tom); his stepchildren, Trevor Dougherty and Ryan Dougherty; his siblings, Paula Baucom (John), Carol Curlee (Barry), Mitzi Hamblin and James H. Hamblin, Jr. (Tina); and his sister-in-law Raynelle B. Hamblin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society.
