She was predeceased by : her former life partner Bob Trent; and her siblings, Betty Cretsinger and Earl Cash. She is survived by : her husband Carl Lewis; her son Scott Trent; her stepchildren, Steve Lewis, Mike Lewis and Jane Culp; her grandchildren, Daniel Trent and Rebecca Clemmons; and her great grandchildren, Maggie Trent and Abigail Christian. She is also survived by step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boone's Creek Christian Church or to Glenwood Union Baptist Church.
