He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hankal and Lillian Crabtree Hankal. He is survived by: his siblings, Susie "Sue" Lyle, Nancy King, Zeta Blankenship (Mike), Anne Campbell (Peter), Tina Street (Johnny) and John Tommy Hankal (Mary); and his close friend Linda Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
