He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arch and Flora Ella Cheek Turner; his children, Annakate McNeil and Sue Howe; his siblings, Major Turner and Ruth Turner Jessie; and his son-in-law Ken Schwall.
He is survived by: his children, Corina Schwall of Greenback, Mark Turner of California, Vallerie Haney of Englewood, James Turner of Petersburg and David Turner of Kentucky. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
