With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Edward Schwall of Greenback, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schwall and Marjorie Schwall. He is survived by: his wife Corina Schwall of Claiborne County, TN; his children, Robin Harbin (Brent), David Schwall (Greta) and Danny Schwall (Jesse); and his grandchildren, Morgan Harbin (Alyssa), Rebecca Harbin, Barrett Schwall (Tess), Harrison Schwall, Brody Schwall, Jack Schwall, Sam Schwall, Emma Claire Schwall and Ben Schwall.

Memorials may be given in his name to The Fairview Community Park Fund, Fairview Church, 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37801 or to Pregnancy Resource Center, 103 Station Drive, Maryville, TN 37804.

During my years at WBIR-TV as Art Director, Ken would often make his way down to my office in the basement, always bringing with him a fresh story or a lighthearted tale of the day. Years later in Maryville, I often saw him at Walmart, where he never missed a chance to chat and brighten my day. Ken had a true gift for laughter and connection. He will be deeply missed in East Tennessee, but I know he’s still bringing smiles wherever he is.”
