Carolyn Haynes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Haynes of Greenbrier, Tennessee, who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Haynes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde and Lillian Williams Crain; her husband Ike Haynes; and her siblings, Barbara Crain, Charlotte Dunnivant and Sam Crain.
She is survived by: her children, Robert McAlister (Lori) of Greenbrier and Julie Opron (Eric) of Orlando, FL; and her brother Robert Crain (Diane) of Greenbrier. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (2619 Hwy 41 S, Greenbrier, TN 37043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greenbrier Historical Society.
