He is survived by : his fiancée Becky Leibfritz; his children, Kevin Boyd and Keisha Boyd; his grandchildren, Levi Boyd, Solie Boyd, Sebastian Boyd, Italia Lopez-Meacham, Benjamin Shutt II, Isiah Dillard and Keanna Scott; his siblings, Roger Boyd (Kathy), Ronnie Boyd and Sue Anderson; and his close friend Toby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
