She was predeceased by: her father Robert Meredith Goodlett; her husband Ralph W. Covington; her sisters, Nina Morris and Bobbie Hastings; her brothers-in-law, Fred Morris and Frank Hastings; and her nephews, Ricky Morris and Michael Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Roop (Jeff) and Robert Covington II (Charlee); her granddaughter Vanessa Murphey (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, JT, Tanner and Tara. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and great great great nieces and nephews.
