He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Savage; his parents, James Dewey and Virgie Mai Savage; his son John D. Savage; and his grandson Jason M. Savage.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Savage (Debbie), Gary Savage (Jeri Lynn), Tony Savage (Kelly), Jeff Shoulders (Melissa), Kim Pearce and Emily Vantrease; his grandchildren, Ashley Savage, Lindsey Reeder (Greg), Lanie Vaughn (CJ), Kailey Pryor (Roman), Kennedy Williams, Allison Jett (Coty), Joshua Shoulders (Amber), Kristen Broyle (Will), Jonathan Pearce, Eric Pearce (Presley) and Heather Vantrease; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Fuqua, Noah, Max and Avery Reeder. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
