She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schertzer and Estelle Schertzer; her in-laws, Eugene and Charlene Ribas; and her husband Eugene "Gene" Ribas.

She is survived by: her daughter Tara; her son-in-law Dale Clontz; her granddaughter Abigayle; her adoptive daughter Laura Davis; her grandson Nicholas; her sister Diane Davis; and her caregiver Janet Bahena. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
