He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Crain and Clyde Crain; his siblings, Barbara Crain, Carolyn Haynes, Charlotte Dunnivant and Sam Crain; and his grandson Jonathan Crain.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Briley Crain; his children, Donna Heflin (Gary), Gregg Crain (Jill) and Bill Crain (Ana); and his grandchildren, Zach Claus (Jessica), Russ Heflin, Taylor Brown (John), Lara Heflin, Justin Crain, Gabrielle Crain and Briley Crain. He is also survived by classmates, co-workers, neighbors, kids he taught and coached, relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Daily Bread Ministry of Greenbrier First Baptist Church where Bob was an active member for 75 years.
