He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles and Laura Clare Mason (Beyore); and his brothers, Daryl Mason and Terry Mason. He is survived by: his wife Sammie Marie Holcomb; his sons, Robert Charles Mason II and Charles James Mason; his grandson Jeremy Kane Mason; and his brothers, Brian Mason and Jeff Mason.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (2619 Hwy 41 S, Greenbrier, TN 37073). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Greenbrier Austin & Bell Funeral Home (2619 Hwy 41 S, Greenbrier, TN 37073).
